AUSTIN, TX -- A Texas woman accused of shoplifting and hitting a store worker with her car then allegedly called 911 to complain about the customer service.

Austin police traced the calls to 57-year-old Kristin Carlton. Travis County jail records show Carlton was being held without bond Wednesday on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Officers on Tuesday responded to a thrift store after a worker was hit by a car driven by a fleeing suspected shoplifter. The worker was treated and released from a hospital.

A woman later anonymously called 911 to complain about being accused of shoplifting and her treatment by store workers. Police traced the call and arrested Carlton at her job. Her damaged car was found.

Online records don't list an attorney to speak for her.
