HCSO: Robbery suspects lead police on high-speed chase

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A high-speed police chase ended on 610 North at Yale Sunday afternoon.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a robbery was reported around 1:30pm at an Outback Steakhouse in Copperfield.

Deputies spotted the white truck the suspects were in on FM 529 at Highway 6 around 3pm and gave chase. The pursuit ended around 4pm on the freeway.

Authorities did confirm that one of the suspects got out of the car and the driver kept going. That suspect was detained. The driver was also taken into custody without incident.
