HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities have arrested a man suspected in a bank robbery this morning in Fort Bend County.

The robbery happened at a Capital One Bank in the 11500 block of Highway 6 South at 10:49am.

Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Haenel said they luckily had two units nearby who responded to the scene.

Authorities say the man came in and passed a note to the teller.

The man was apprehended, authorities say, with money on him and he is suspected in two other robberies.

Haenel said Capital One had sent his photo out to their area branches, so he was recognized by the staff when he came in.

He's currently being questioned by law enforcement.
