2-alarm fire breaks out at north Harris County apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire early this morning in north Harris County.

The fire broke out at the Canfield Apartments on the 13200 block of Northborough Drive around 2:30am.

Firefighters put on flames on the first floor at the back of the three-story building. The apartment was vacant and that the blaze was contained quickly.

Arson investigators were on scene. No other units caught fire and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
