A 21-year-old Houston woman was sentenced to 17 years in prison for producing and distributing child pornography involving a toddler.
Julia Michelle Morris pleaded guilty on April 27 to charges of production, distribution and possession of child pornography. A judge on Monday sentenced Morris to 204 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.
Authorities say Morris created child porn using a 19-month-old toddler in an attempt to sell it for $8,000. But before she could make the sale, her boyfriend stumbled upon the images on her cell phone and called authorities.
That's when investigators obtained a search warrant and found the graphic images.
