FBI: Robber holds bank tellers at gunpoint while demanding cash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The FBI is searching for a bank robbery suspect who held tellers at gunpoint while demanding cash.

The robbery happened just before 3pm Friday at a bank in teh 1500 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South.

According to the FBI, the suspect pretended to fill out deposit slips until the last customer left bank then pulled out a gun and demanded money from each teller. The suspect placed the money inside a medium-sized black paper gift bag and fled the scene.

The bank robber was described as a Black male in his late 50s. He wore a dark sweat shirt, dark pants, dark tennis shoes, mirrored sunglasses, and a light colored ball cap with a dark rim. He carried a black semi-automatic handgun and a medium black paper gift bag to carry out the cash.
