CINCINNATI, OH (KTRK) -- It's a big honor for an All-Star. Today, we learned Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel will be the starting pitcher for the American League in tomorrow's All-Star game in Cincinnati.
The Astros tweeted the news following an MLB news conference.
Keuchel, who's been the ace of the Astros staff, was named to the All-Star squad last week. Kuechel is 11-4 in 19 starts with a 2.23 ERA.
Keuchel joins fellow starter second baseman Jose Altuve and manager A.J. Hinch on the 2015 AL All-Star Team. Altuve was named the AL's starting second baseman last week, while Hinch was named to the AL's coaching staff last month.
