AUSTIN, TX -- During its run to the state title, Katy seemed to have a flair for the dramatic.

With a bases-loaded, squeeze bunt by McKay Bloxham in the bottom of the seventh, the Lady Tigers defeated the Lewisville Fighting Farmers on Saturday in Austin 3-2 to claim their first state softball championship in school history.
"I was nervous, but I was ready," Bloxham said. "I haven't been doing too well lately, and so finally to come out of that in this situation was great.
