HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Construction on the $156 million dollar international terminal at Hobby Airport will impact the airport's passenger drop-off/pick-up areas tonight, according to the Houston Airport System.

Due to the ongoing construction, the upper passenger drop-off ramp will be closed beginning at 8pm. All traffic will be re-routed to the lower ramp.

The upper ramp will re-open at 5 a.m. tomorrow.

Work is being done on the pedestrian bridge connecting the new parking garage with the terminal, where a five-gate international facility is expected to open in October 2015, HAS states.

They ask that anyone visiting the Hobby Airport to allow extra traveling time and drive with caution when coming to the airport.
