Houston police investigating homicide off Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A gunman opened fire on at least two cars traveling on a Southwest Freeway feeder this morning near Clarewood. The bullets pieced the windshield and killed one man.

Detective John Parker with HPD said friends had left Babee'Os Club on Hillcroft and Harwin. They were driving on the feeder road when someone started firing at their car. Investigators do not have a description of the shooter or the car. The gunman remains on the run.
