Man returns to crime scene after allegedly murdering man in NW Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is in jail after he allegedly shot and killed another man in northwest Harris County.

It happened around 11pm at the Brisas Del Mar Apartments in the 2400 block of Bammelwood Drive near Kuykendahl.

Authorities say the gunman shot the victim in the chest.

He left as the victim died on the scene.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a man came back to the scene and police arrested him. He's now a person of interest in the case.
