Four-vehicle accident on Highway 59 at Mandell shuts 4 SB lanes of highway

HOUSTON -- A four-vehicle accident on the Southwest Freeway at Mandell is affecting four southbound lanes of the highway.

Details of the wreck weren't immediately clear but a major traffic backup can be seen on Highway 59 at Dunlavy and Shepherd. The right lane, as well as three center lanes, are currently shut down.
