Man shot near Third Ward hospital

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was shot in the street Monday after police say he fought with a guy in that man's home.

Police say it started Monday morning at a home near downtown. Police say a man in the home chased a guy down the street.

He turned up a few blocks away at Elgin and Ennis, near Riverside Hospital, with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Paramedics took the man to the hospital and are now sorting out what happened.
