Register to vote for the May 9 Uniform Election

HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan reminds citizens that the last day to register to vote for the May 9 Uniform Election is right around the corner. The deadline to register to vote for the May Election is April 9, 2015.

"Registering to vote is incredibly simple and it ensures your voice is heard in the community," said Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan. "You can find all the necessary forms to register to vote on my website at www.hctax.net or by visiting a Tax Assessor-Collector branch location. Voter registration applications must be received by my office or postmarked by April 9, 2015 for the applicant to be eligible to vote in the May 9 Election."

If a registered voter has moved within Harris County or had their name changed, they can update their voter registration information by visiting www.hctax.net and clicking on the Name/Address Change button under the Voter Registration tab.
