Sex offender reward increased to $8K

AUSTIN, TX (KTRK) -- The reward for 64-year-old sex offender Mack Brady Meadows, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender is increased to $8,000.

The Texas Department of Public Safety increased the reward for the month's "featured fugitive." The reward is offered if information leading to his capture comes in during the month of April.

Texas DPS says Meadows is a high-risk sex offender wanted for a parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.

Authorities say Meadows has ties to Beaumont and Port Arthur, as well as the states of Louisiana, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia.

Meadows' criminal history includes indecency with a child-sexual contact, enticing a child and receiving stolen property.

Meadows is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his arms, including a wolf on his left forearm.
