2 shot at southeast Houston apartment complex; gunman on run

HOUSTON -- A gunman is still on the run after two men were found shot this morning at an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

It happened around 1:30am at the Crestmont Village Apartments on Selinsky at Cedarburg in southeast Houston.

Houston police believe the shooter used a rifle to injure the two men.

One was found with a bullet in his leg. The other suffered a gunshot to his ankle.

A motive for the shooting remains unknown.
