Woman accused in Channelview assault, arson

CHANNELVIEW, TX (KTRK) -- Investigators say a woman assaulted another woman then set her house on fire.

Angela Cummings is charged with arson and attempted murder.

The attack happened last month in the 1000 block of Meads Street in Channelview. The victim is still in the hospital.

HArris County Fire Marshal's investigators say they caught Cummings using the victim's stolen credit cards.

Cummings is now behind bars in the Harris County Jail.
