CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Conroe police officers used their cruisers last night to stop a wrong way driver before he could hurt anyone.
Around 1am Conroe police received their first calls about the wrong way driver on the North Freeway near Shepherd Road.
Officers say the driver was heading in the wrong direction with no headlights.
That's when two police officers used their cruisers to end the man's journey, spreading their cruisers across the freeway.
The driver couldn't go around the cruisers and was forced to stop. He was arrested at the scene.
