Man, 74, dies in fire in Montgomery County

WILLIS, TX (KTRK) -- A man is dead after a fire torched a mobile home in north Montgomery County.

Investigators in Willis are working to piece together what happened. They tell us they found a 74-year-old victim in the home on Trice Monday morning.

Investigators aren't sure what started the fire. They say the victim had rented the mobile home and the place apparently did not have a smoke detector.
