Overturned big rig making for big traffic mess east of downtown

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a major traffic alert to let you know about just east of downtown.

An overturned truck has the exit ramp from the Eastex Freeway southbound to I-10 eastbound shut down. Both I-10 and 59 are backed up for miles.

At this point, we don't have any word of injuries.
