Man arrested for DUI after driving golf cart on freeway

PASADENA, CA -- A suspected DUI driver went for a joy ride in a golf cart on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena Thursday night.

The California Highway Patrol said it received calls regarding a man driving a golf cart in the slow lane near the North Lake Avenue exit around 10:10 p.m.

Officers caught up to the driver shortly after he exited the freeway at Hill Avenue and arrested him.

It's unknown how long the man was driving on the freeway.
