Missing boy in southwest Houston located

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police say a boy missing in southwest Houston has been found.

HPD said the boy was located at 5700 Southwest Freeway Friday evening.

Earlier, a call came in just before 6 p.m. Friday of a missing child under 8 years old in the area of Glenmont and Rampart.

A caller told police a friend's son went missing.

Police did not disclose the boy's condition.
