SWAT team responds to man barricaded in west Houston apartment

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A SWAT team and hostage negotiators are responding to a scene in the 5900 block of Fondren in west Houston.

According to preliminary information tweeted by HPD Friday afternoon, a man has apparently barricaded himself inside of his apartment unit.

The man is believed to be armed, according to HPD.
