Police investigating 2 bodies found inside burning vehicle in NE Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities say two bodies were discovered inside a burning truck Sunday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., officers were sent to John Alber Road after reports of a grass fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a vehicle on fire and noticed two bodies inside the truck.

Investigators are trying to determine the manner and cause of death.

The victims have not yet been identified.
