HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- For years, Consumer Reporter Patrica Lopez helped "Stretch Your Dollar" every morning and afternoon on ABC13.

However, many people didn't realize at the time what she and her family were dealing with at home, especially on the scariest day of her life.

Lopez opened up about her daughter's battle with epilepsy and how she's managing it.
