Overturned 18-wheeler removed from Eastex Freeway, lanes back open

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Emergency crews have removed an 18-wheeler from the Eastex Freeway. All lanes and the exit ramp were back open just after 4 p.m. Saturday.

The dangling 18-wheeler blocked the I-69 Eastex Southbound connector to I-610 N Loop Eastbound.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and expect delays.
