Deputies on scene of person hit by car in west Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating a person struck by a vehicle in west Harris County.

Deputies were called to the scene on Morton near Greenhouse at around 7 a.m.

Officials have not confirmed the age or gender of the person hit, but the victim was said to be alert when EMS crews arrived.
