HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- If you've traveled down Post Oak Boulevard in Uptown Houston area, you've probably noticed a beautiful transformation.

On Friday, the district planted the 100th tree on Post Oak.

The 4,000-pound, 35-foot live oak tree was custom grown at a nearby tree farm alongside more than 800 trees that will create a canopy-lined, grand boulevard upon the project's completion this December.
