Water collecting on roads as heavy rain continues Saturday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Heavy rainfall is making for messy roads throughout southeast Texas.

The heavy rain started early Saturday.

Some localized spots were seeing some ponding and minor street flooding.

Jeff Lindner, the Meteorologist with the Harris County Flood Control District, was up early keeping an eye on conditions.

The most important thing to note is that Lindner said Brays Bayou is still well within its banks.
