Suspected Houston-area pedophile arrested in Canada

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspected pedophile, who authorities say was caught while trying to sneak into Canada, is now in a Harris County jail.

Aamir Khan is charged with sexual assault of a child.

According to prosecutors, he assaulted a 16-year-old girl, who worked with him at a cell phone business.

Investigators said Khan was out on bond and trying to make his way back to Pakistan -- with his wife and child -- when he was captured in Canada.
