3 shot, 1 fatally, in SW Houston apartment
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- K-9 units are searching for a suspect in the shooting of at least three people in SW Houston, police say.
The shooting happened at an apartment complex on the 5800 block of Dashwood just after 6pm.
Immediately after the shooting, an eyewitness flagged down a nearby patrol officer, who then found one man dead and another critically injured.
A trail of bled led officers into the apartment where the shooting is believed to have occurred. Investigators say the shooting may have been drug-related.
Hours later, another victim showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
Authorities say a suspect in the shooting was last seen running westbound. K-9 units have been called in to assist in the search.
