Three fires broke out across Harris County overnight (KTRK)

Residents across Harris County Saturday night woke up to the smell of smoke and then discovered their homes were on fire.

Within a matter of hours, there were three different fires and two were linked to heating issues.

The first fire, linked to a space heater was at a house in northeast Houston on Pardee near Eastland.

The home owner was able to make it out alive, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

And then, a faulty furnace led to a fire in southwest Houston on South Gessner at Town Park.

Crews are in north Harris County at an apartment fire on Aldine West Field and Woodcreek.
