Alleged hit-and-run driver arrested after crash with Pasadena officer

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A Pasadena police officer was taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run driver crashed into his police cruiser.

The crash happened along Fairmont Parkway near Pansy Street.

Investigators said an officer was driving down Fairmont when another car pulled out of a parking lot and struck the officer's cruiser.

The other driver took off, but was taken into custody on Highway 3.

The officer was not seriously injured.
