2 hurt in 18-wheeler accident in north Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A major accident in north Houston involving an 18-wheeler has left at least two people injured.

Police tell us the big rig slammed into a stalled pickup truck on the North Loop at Hardy around midnight.

The pickup hit an SUV, knocking it into a concrete wall.

The driver of the SUV is in critical condition. The driver in the pickup suffered minor injuries.

The North Loop westbound is now open.
