2 hospitalized following head-on crash in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two drivers are in the hospital after a violent head-on crash in southwest Houston.

Authorities tell us a driver in an Acura was speeding on Westheimer near Windchase and crossed over the median -- crashing into another driver in a BMW.

One of the drivers was taken to the hospital by LifeFlight.

So far there's no word on charges in the case.
