Pedestrian hit, killed on Gulf Freeway at Broadway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pedestrian was killed after an accident Friday night on the Gulf Freeway near Broadway Street.

The incident happened around 9pm as the victim crossed the freeway.

He made it across the southbound lanes and across the HOV but as he was going into the northbound lanes he was hit by a vehicle.

The man has been identified as an Asian man and investigators are still trying to find out the reason for his crossing.
