Barbra Streisand to perform in Houston for the first time

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- This is not a drill, Streis-fans!

Barbara Streisand has long toured the world with her iconic voice and somehow missed the Bayou City, until now.

The performer will make a stop at Houston's Toyota Center in November as part of her 9-city 'The Music...The Mem'ries...The Magic!' tour.

The best-selling female recording artist has recorded 52 gold, 31 platinum and 13 multi-platinum albums, and is set to perform her hits from each decade, including tracks from her latest number one album, "Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway."

Tickets go on sale at 10am Thursday, and will be available on LiveNation.com, HoustonToyotaCenter.com, and at 1-866-4-HOUTIX.

Tickets are also available at Houston-area Randalls stores.
