Texans announce dates for open practices

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Texans released their schedule Monday for open practices at this year's training camp.

Camp begins on July 31. Six practice sessions will be open to the public at the Methodist Training Center on Sun., July 31; Tue.-Wed., Aug. 2-3; Sat.-Sun., Aug. 6-7 and Thur., Aug. 18 for a joint practice against the New Orleans Saints.

Open practices begin at either 8:30am or 8:55pm. Gates open at 7am on July 31 and one hour before the remaining practices.

The NFL Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for all practice sessions open to the public.
