HOUSTON (KTRK) -- After the devastating floods around the Houston area last week, many schools were damaged and even destroyed. Here is a list of School Make-up Days:

Cy-Fair ISD:

They will have a decision this week.

Klein ISD:

The TEA has granted three waiver days Two days will need to be made up. The plan is for Friday, June 3, to be an instructional day. And beginning May 2, the school day will be increased by 18 minutes -- five minutes before school and 13 minutes after. This is all subject to board approval.

Katy ISD:

"We are also pleased to share that TEA has confirmed that since Katy ISD currently exceeds the state's minimum requirement for instructional minutes in the classroom, there will be no need to make up the first two missed days of instruction (Monday/Tuesday). Additionally, TEA has verbally indicated support for a waiver request that Katy ISD will submit for the remaining three days in which the district was closed due to bad weather. This means we anticipate no makeup days for missed instructional days for school closures from April 18-22!" (From KISD Facebook)

Klein ISD:

They will have a decision today.

Sealy ISD:

They will have a formal answer sometime next week.

Spring ISD:

They will use a built-in make-up day. Their last day will be May 27th, instead of the 26th.

They are also requesting one extra day, so that the total would be three but the state has granted only two of those days.

They are also cancelling an early release day that was scheduled for Wednesday.

Texas Educators Agency:

"The situation is addressed district by district. If a district needs additional days then they need to request it."
