Investigators to announce arrests in carjacking, shooting in East Harris County

Investigators say two suspects have been arrested in connection with an east Harris County carjacking that sent a man to the hospital. The Harris County Sheriff's Office is holding a press conference to provide more details, and Eyewitness News is there to bring it to you live.

Detectives say Armando Velasquez was shot in both legs March 31 as he struggled with one of the suspects. Investigators say he was trying to protect his fiance and their one-year-old daughter.
