School bus carrying Indiana basketball team overturns

Griffith, IN -- A school bus carrying members of the Griffith, Indiana boys basketball team overturned on I-65 near Demotte, Indiana in Jasper County Saturday afternoon.

The bus contained players and coaches of the Griffith High School boys basketball team. They were heading to Lafayette to play against Marian High School In the Indiana state AAA semifinals basketball game. The game was supposed to be at 3pm.

The Indiana State Police are investigating. State Police say there are injuries, but none are considered to be life threatening.
