HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The farmers market at Houston City Hall has reopened just in time for spring.

Mayor Sylvester Turner says he will continue the popular lunchtime destination, which offers fresh produce, cheeses, breads, coffee and prepared meals from nearly 40 vendors.

The City Hall Farmers Market boasts four tents and a new food truck around the reflection pool on Bagby Street.

Turner says visitors are encouraged to walk, ride a bike via Houston Bike Share or take the Greenlink shuttle buses to city hall to take in the delicious fare.
