Convicted sex offender on the run after parole violation

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A convicted sex offender is on the run after a parole violation.

Robert Acey Thomasson, 66, is wanted after he ran away from his registered address. He was convicted of indecency with a child.

It's unclear where Thomasson lived or the date he went missing based on the information released to the public.

The Texas Attorney General's Office is asking for the public's help to find him.

Thomasson is a white male, 6'03, 205 pounds, with brown eyes, short brown hair and a scar over his right arm.
