CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KTRK) -- A Houston man has died in Louisiana after a three-vehicle crash.

Byron Keith Bob, 54, was killed around 6pm Saturday night on the eastbound lanes of I-10, just west of Louisiana Highway 378 near Westlake in Calcasieu Parish.

Police say Bob drove his 1999 GMC pickup truck off the roadway, across the center median and into the westbound lanes of traffic when his vehicle.

That is when police Bob's vehicle was struck by a motor home and then an 18-wheeler.

The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured. Police say both the GMC and the motor home were severely damaged as a result of the crash.

Investigators say all the drivers were wearing seatbelts.

While slick roads and speed appear to have played a role in the accident, police say they are awaiting a toxicology report to see if alcohol was a factor.
