DICKINSON, TX (KTRK) -- A man accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl nearly 20 years ago is now the subject of a campaign to see him behind bars in Dickinson.

Margarito Blanco-Alviso was arrested by police on August 25, 1996 after officers say he had just engaged in a sex act with the victim.

He was released on bail and then never appeared for scheduled court hearings in the case.

Blanco-Alviso, 38, also answers to the name Miguel Mago. He is 5 feet 6, 150 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Dickinson.

He is wanted in Galveston County after a grand jury indicted him for aggravated sexual assault of a child and bond forfeiture.
