HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Texans' 34-6 win over Tennessee Sunday moved them one step closer to clinching the AFC South. But because Indianapolis beat Miami, the Texans will have to wait at least another day.

Here's how it breaks down. If the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Broncos in Denver on Monday Night Football, Houston wins the AFC South based on the strength of their victories.

If Denver beats Cincinnati, then it all comes down to next Sunday. If Houston beats Jacksonville, they're in. If Houston loses to the Jags and the Colts lose to the Titans, Houston is in.

If the Texans lose and the Colts win, the teams finish the season tied for first place and strength of victory will be the determining factor.

Stay tuned.
