Fire damages nail salon in NW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters were called to put out a fire at a nail salon in northwest Houston.

The fire happened just after 9pm at the Top Nails & Spa on Huffmeister Road near White Oak Landing Boulevard.

Firefighters found a fire in the storage room of that business.

No injuries were reported, but the salon was heavily damaged by the blaze.

Authorities say there is the threat of a cinder block wall collapse at the business, which is in a strip center.
