Plenty of new parking spots at Hobby Airport

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you're flying for the holidays, here's some good news.

Hobby Airport's newest parking garage is now open. It adds nearly 1,000 more parking spots for travelers. Nearly 18,000 people are expected to fly out of Hobby on Wendesday.

The new parking wing is part of a bigger $156 million west concourse project. It should be completed in the spring of 2016.
