Amber Alert canceled for N. Texas toddler, child found safe

FT. WORTH, TX (KTRK) -- Police in north Texas say the toddler at the center of an Amber Alert has been found safe.

The Ft. Worth Police Department began searching last night for Twinkle Twinkie Twilight, a black 15-month-old female. Officers reported just after 7:00am this morning that the child had been found safe.

Police say Vicki Lynn Dixon (Miles), a black 42-year-old, took the child. KTVT-TV reports Dixon is the child's biological mother but did not have custody. She has been taken into custody for questioning.
