Man found shot between homes in north Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is recovering in the hospital after police say he was shot in north Harris County.

Sheriff deputies responded to the scene in the 8500 block of Werner and E. Mitchell around 11:50pm last night. They found the male victim unconscious between two homes.

The victim was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital where he is expected to survive.

Right now, deputies to not know why he was shot or who shot him. The investigation is ongoing.
